Farmyard Fun for the Family, Down at the Farm
Down at the Farm is a seasonal attraction and offers animal interaction and play in the countryside between February and October each year. There is a wide variety of farm animals to hold and stroke, play areas and activities to make your day even more fun! There are lots of different types of farm animals for you to meet from sheep, cattle, donkeys and pigs. There is also a small collection of animals such as Reindeer, Snowy owls, Meerkats, Raccoons and Reptiles.
There is a daily timetable of animal activities which allows visitors to get up close to the animals. Activities can change according to the season and weather but the core activities are available every day – core activities are donkey grooming, rabbit petting, pig washing, chick holding & mini keepers. Lamb feeding commences in April. Each activity is on at a different time of the day; come early to make the most of all the daily activities. - Hold a Fluffy Chick or Cuddle a Bunny
- Feed the Lambs
- Mini Keepers
- Reptile Shows & Zena the 17ft Burmese Python!
- Magic Shows
- Birds of Prey
Staff led activities are timed throughout the day so check the timetable for more details. Some outdoor activities may be cancelled with changes in weather. Activities include:
- Tractor rides*
- Junior quad bikes*
- Bumpy barrel rides*
- Outdoor jumping pillow
- The Treehouse
- Mega Playzone
- Outdoor racing car track*
- Outdoor sandpit and tube maze
* there is a small additional charge for some activities.
