Bowes Railway The Museum is open every Tuesday and Thursday for visitors, on these days volunteers will be on site – if you visit on these days a member will be happy to give you a guided tour of the site between 10 am & 3 pm. Open Days are the first weekend of each month. The open weekend will include guided tours, a chance to have a look around the restored wagon workshop, the mining museum, see the historic wagon collection, and view the two steam and three diesels on site. Refreshments available.
