Lively Learners offers classes for pre-schoolers between the ages of 18 months and 4 years. The classes begin by delivering an introduction focussing on numeracy, literacy or another area from the curriculum. This is followed by a group activity or game.
The children then move onto an obstacle course collecting items relating to the learning objective of the day. This part of the session develops gross and fine motor skills as well as consolidating on previous learning. It also allows your child to work cooperatively and take turns with the other children in the class.
At the end of the session the children are given an opportunity to share what they have learnt, sing songs and dance.
Every week the lesson is different and designed to allow children to make progress throughout the year. These 45 minute sessions have been developed to encourage listening skills, language, communication, motor skills, and creative thinking. Our learning objectives are taken directly from the early year's strategy to achieve early learning goals. Children will use a diverse array of resources, such as schemes of work like Jolly Phonics, early learning books and music.
These classes are all together a very different and exciting learning experience but most importantly they give the children the opportunity to have fun!

What do Parents Say?
'"Well, I have to say a huge thank you Mrs Nicola McMonigle. Week 4 of reception and Ruby is flying through her phonics and is stringing words together and I know its thanks to her time at Lively Learners. It's just like a refresher at school. Would recommend to anyone that wants to give their little one a good start."
