Situated within attractive grounds in Salisbury Avenue, Salisbury Tennis Club is a small friendly club which prides itself in providing tennis facilities for all the family and local community with 3 recently re-surfaced hard courts and a modern clubhouse.
We would like to extend a warm welcome to existing & new members to Salisbury Tennis Club & hope you will have an enjoyable season. Our Club continues to be one of the best in Wiltshire & our Committee work hard to ensure our facilities remain first class. On the social side we have Tuesday & Friday evenings from 6.30pm, weekend play, singles leagues & a variety of social "competitions". We hold supper evenings ever Friday at the Club. Our Clubhouse includes a licensed bar & changing / shower facilities, and is available for private functions for members.
Junior tennis & coaching remain a very important part of the Club & its future. A continued high standard of coaching is delivered by Lee Mahony, our Head Coach & his assistants.
If you have any queries or want information about coaching call Lee on 07788791328 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. As always Junior players are accepted & encouraged to join in with the adult teams.
The Summer League season starts mid-April so keen match players may wish to come along to the sessions during the summer months. Watch out for dates. There are teams for all ages & abilities from under 10 to over 50 years of age! There are Junior, Ladies, Senior, Veteran, local, regional & national competitions & leagues in which we regularly enter teams, singles & doubles. We have an excellent record of achievement at all levels. The Club has always supplied many County players for Wiltshire, at veteran, senior & junior level.
We have a completely open access membership policy & new members are always welcome. And you can play for free on your first visit & if you come with another member any visitors fees you pay can be deducted from your subscription when you join so please complete the visitors book. You can book a court using the sheets supplied (to the right when you enter the Clubhouse) after 6pm weekdays & between 9 & 4 weekends.
You can access a Membership Form from the tab at the top of the page, print form off & send in with the relevant amount. Remember as an existing member you get a discount if paying your subscription by the end of March (as long as you joined before October 1st last year). You can enter the Wimbledon ticket ballot as well (as long as you are a British Tennis Member). This is in April.
Pay & play runs all year round - so you don't have to join a Club to play tennis!
