Time for a stretch?

5dfb8b83329d20485d4b351421ddadcb.jpgIf you've been sat at a desk all day these are the perfect stretches to ease off tightness and tension in your neck, back & shoulders. You can do them all in a chair or on the floor - your choice!

STRETCH YOUR SIDES

Inhale to reach both arms straight up. Exhale to bring one hand to the floor or chair and reach up and over with the other hand. Repeat on the other side.

GIVE YOURSELF A HUG

Inhale to reach both arms out to either side of you then exhale to give yourself a big hug. Stretch your arms out again then hug with the opposite arm on top.

STRETCH YOUR SHOULDERS

Take a belt in your left hand and inhale to reach it straight up. Exhale to bend your left elbow and draw the belt between your shoulder blades. Inhale to reach your right arm straight out to the right, exhale to bend the elbow and take hold of the other end of the belt. Repeat on the other side.

STRETCH YOUR SIDES

Cross your right leg over your left. Inhale to reach both arms straight up. Exhale to bring your left hand onto the outside of the right knee, and your right hand to rest behind you on the chair or floor. Repeat on the other side.

TWIST YOUR SPINE

Cross your right leg over your left. Inhale to reach both arms straight up. Exhale to bring your left hand dc4838b9bee37751a487573e721730e3.jpgonto the outside of the right knee, and your right hand to rest behind you on the chair or floor. Repeat on the other side.
