Beading parties with Bead Creative

85010078f5fe2fcc6bf6f385dcc59240.jpgSam Giles launched Bead Creative in November 2017. She hosts creative beading sessions
for both children and adults along with making bespoke jewellery and Christmas decorations.
Beading started as a hobby and, once both children were in school, quickly became a small
business fitting around looking after a young family.
Children’s Birthday Parties
Creative parties are really popular and with Bead Creative parties the children can choose
from a variety of options such as bracelets, bookmarks, key chains etc. There are also more
complicated designs to challenge the older children but mostly they just love to see the huge
selection of beads that they can choose from. The colours and textures of the extensive
bead selection provides a real sensory experience and the quiet nature of the session allows
the children to chat and bond together whilst creating something just for them. Finally they
get to take everything home so no need for extra goodies to fill a party bag!
Beads and Bubbles
As well as children’s beads Sam has a huge collection of fancy glass, pearl, semi precious
and crystal beads that ladies can make beautiful items with. Sam hosts ‘Beads and Bubbles’
where you can enjoy an evening with friends making something special. Flexible day ‘Make
and Take’ sessions are also available which are perfect for making that special unique gift.
Some of these sessions have included making birthday bracelets, wedding jewellery and
even wire family trees!
Mindful sessions
Bead Weaving (the sewing together of tiny 4acf03c351aa00384fe17ff441f98b2e.jpgbeads) is a very therapeutic past time. It isn’t
particularly tricky to sew beads together but does require real focus and concentration
making it a perfect mindful activity. After running a couple of longer workshops that crossed
several days, seeing how much people enjoyed being away from home and their daily
stresses for an hour or so, Sam has developed a real passion to create this space more
often. The first drop in sessions happened before Christmas, making beaded icicles, and
more projects are planned throughout 2020. The sessions currently run during school hours
on a drop in, pay as you go basis after an initial payment to cover bead and material costs.

Family sessions

Why not team up with another family and book a family session together?  What could be more enjoyable than making personalised bookmarks or pretty bracelets while enjoying some family bonding? These sessions are always loads of fun and get booked up really quickly.

Handmade bespoke jewellery

Sam also makes a small range of unique handmade jewellery perfect for special celebrations. She especially enjoys bespoke requests, so please give her a call!
