Ragley has been the home of the Conway family since 1680.
Today, the 9th Marquess and Marchioness of Hertford, their 4 children and 5 dogs invite you and your family to enjoy their home and gardens.
The children will have hours of fun in the Adventure Playground with 3D maze, aerial slide, rope bridges and climbing frames. And if you’re a family who likes to explore, then don your walking shoes or wellies and head to the Woodland Walk; a haven for indigenous flora and fauna. Dogs on leads are welcome too.
For heritage and culture seekers, at the heart of the Ragley Estate is Ragley Hall, one of England’s earliest and finest Palladian mansions and home to a wonderful collection of art, porcelain and furniture.
Ragley Gardens occupy 10 hectares and surround the magnificent Ragley Hall. As the seasons change, so do the gardens – visit the Snowdrops and Winter Garden in February, the tulips and daffodils in March, bluebells in April, the Alpines and Spring Meadows in May, the Rose Garden in June and July and the Prairie Garden late summer.
Pack up the car, pack in the children, grandma and grandad and head to Ragley for a fun day out that the whole family will enjoy.
For an action packed day, let the children run wild in the Adventure Playground, get lost in the 3D maze, play ball in the Park and take kayaks out on the Lake.
If a more relaxing day is what you're after then take in the Woodland Walk, stroll through Ragley Gardens and take a guided tour of Ragley Hall (open every Wednesday through Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday, excluding private events, please check the website).
We have lots of open space and benches if you choose to bring a picnic, but we also serve light lunches, freshly baked cakes, afternoon teas in our Terrace Cafe and ice-creams, snacks and gifts in our Lakeside Lodge.
