Clubs and activities for Preschoolers in Solihull
Stay and play sessions at Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery. Creative, interactive and sensory play & fun with colours, textures and sounds. Designed for babies and toddlers aged 6 months to 2 years to play and interact with a parent or caregiver. Sessions from 10.30 to 11.30 and 11.30 to 12.30. Free event but please pre-book to guarantee a place.
Bumps, Babies and Beyond
Meet new friends with other parents and parents to be. All expectant and new parents welcome. Refreshments, chat and lots of toys! Mats and small toys for non-crawlers and younger babies; and soft play and role play equipment for crawlers and toddlers. Children from birth to three years welcome with a separate area for the older children. £2 per session with drinks and cake provided. No need to be a NCT member and no need to prebook. Every Monday from 2-3:30pm at the Renewal Family Centre (Vulcan Road (Off Lode Lane).
British Motor Museum – Mini Motorists
Enjoy the Museum’s special under 5’s activity mornings. Every monthly Monday session has a theme, with activities, stories and always play time. Come and discover the world’s largest collection of historic British cars with your toddler. Museum opens at 10:00, Mini Motorists runs from 10:30 to 12:00 with time afterwards to explore the Museum.
Tiny Tuesdays – meet other families and have fun with your little ones in our play area full of blocks, shapes and games. 11:30-3:00 every Tuesday during term time. Early Years Forest School – every Thursday in term time, 12:30 – 2:30. Take in the surroundings at the Forest School. Smell, touch and take part in activities for Under 5’s. Both sessions included in admission.
Diamond Swim Academy
Diamond Duckling classes for younger children from absolute beginners. Staff promote skill and quality as future success and swimming progression will only come from perfected Learn To Swim skills.
Groovy Little Movers
Come and meet Groovy George the Giraffe! Sing along, join in the actions and dance with puppets, props and instruments. Classes in Knowle and Solihull.
Rhyme Time and Story Time
Stories, rhymes & songs for preschoolers at Solhull libraries. Events are held at many local libraries. Find your nearest one and pop along – no need to book and it’s FREE!

Solihull Young Dancers
Ballet classes for children aged from 2 ½ years and tap classes from 4 years on Saturday mornings at St Helen’s Church in Solihull. Our lessons focus on strong technique whilst retaining an element of fun to keep the pupils engaged at all times.

Safe Space Support Group
Do you care for a child with additional needs? Safe Space is a Solihull-based support group for parents/carers of children with additional needs such as ASD, ADHD, sensory issues or SEND. It’s a ‘Safe Space’ to chat, get advice, laugh, cry and make new friends. Monthly meetings – Thurs pm & Tues am in Solihull.
