Visit The Deep, Hull’s award-winning aquarium and enjoy a fun-filled family day. Situated just a 5 minute walk from Hull Marina and a short stroll to the City Centre, The Deep is in the perfect location for visitors to enjoy the City of Hull.

Let us take you on a journey through the world’s oceans - travel from warm tropical lagoons to the icy cold Antarctic seas. With over 5,000 animals including spectacular sharks and stingrays, the UK’s only pair of Green sawfish, hundreds of tropical reef fish, Loggerhead sea turtles and a colony of Gentoo penguins, there is something to keep all ages entertained.

Daily highlights include

• Daily dive show at 2pm. See the divers feed the magnificent animals or carry out essential cleaning duties. 
• Penguin feeds. Daily at 11.30am and 3.30pm. 
• Get hands on in our interactive Touch pool sessions at Discovery Corner (half past the hour from 10.30am to 4.30pm) 
• Little nippers can enjoy the interactive magic floor, fossil brushing station and soft play area next to the Lagoon of Light. 
• Viewing tunnel. Take a walk through the stunning viewing tunnel and ride in the glass lift through the 10 metres Endless Ocean tank.

Our Day Plus Pass tickets allow FREE return visits to The Deep for 12 months - that's all included in the normal price of a standard ticket.

Food & Drink
Enjoy either hot or cold food with great views of the Humber at Castaway's café, situated on the 3rd floor and open from 10am to 5.30pm every day. Offering hot breakfasts (until 11.30am), a range of hot meals and salads (until 3pm), plus snacks, cakes, sandwiches and hot and cold drinks. Children's meals and special dietary requirements are all catered for. Tables that have been raised for easier wheelchair access are also available within this café. There is also a baby feeding station with bottle and food warming facilities. You don't need an entry ticket to visit the café.

Half Way café is open during peak periods. It’s located halfway round the attraction next to the Cool Seas exhibit. Here you’ll be able to enjoy a variety of sandwiches, hot and cold snacks and drinks. 

Picnic areas
Picnic benches are located outside of The Deep and there’s a small picnic place area in the exhibition (next to Cool Seas). We cannot guarantee you will always find a table as this area may be used by school parties. 

Two Rivers Restaurant
Dine with the sharks and experience spectacular views all around whilst enjoying a freshly prepared menu sourced from locally produced ingredients. Find out more about dining with us here. The Restaurant is open Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings from 7pm. Access at The Deep
The Deep offers a wide range of access aids to assist visitors with additional needs. These include audio and Braille guides, large print leaflets, foreign language leaflets, social stories for people with autism, sensory packs and mobility aids. Please call 01482 381000 for more details.
