Sheffield Sling Library

Natasha is the founder of Sheffield Sling Library and would like to welcome everyone to the Sheffield Sling Library.

She took over running the Library in the summer of 2012.

Natasha briefly used a High Street carrier with her eldest daughter, but neither of them were ever very comfortable with it, and it quickly began to gather dust.  When she became pregnant with her second, a number of friends (outside of Sheffield) were adamant that the key to surviving with a toddler and a new baby was to use a sling.  With their help and guidance, she found the local Sling Meet and her eyes were opened to the range of options available!

Sheffield Sling Library aims to offer a wide range of slings including: stretchey wraps, woven wraps, hybrid/other carriers, mei tais, ring slings, pouches, soft structured carriers and various other accessories. The sling library is just like a book library where slings are available to rent for a good price for a period of up to two weeks.

Sheffield Sling Library is a non-profit organisation and is grateful for the support it has recieved from those in the babywaring community who have offered ideas, practical help, enthusiasm and donations to the library stock. Our list of library supporters is a testament to the kindness and generosity of those who are in a position to help others find their way.
