Wildlife Homes Pottery Workshops with Connie Rudd and Lynne Heaton

Wildlife Homes Pottery Workshops with Connie Rudd and Lynne Heaton

Insects are an important part of our eco systems, now more than ever they need safe spaces to live so that they can continue pollinating our flowers, fruits, and vegetables.

Join us this spring for an insect home making clay workshop.

We’ll begin by walking around the Arts Centre grounds where we will observe the local wildlife. Afterwards in the pottery we will build our insect homes with clay. Our designs will include tubes and coils, cracks and crevasses which create perfect spaces for insects to shelter.

The insect homes will be fired so they can be put outside in your garden or on a window ledge. Then just wait for your visitors!
