Survival School to open at Norman Court in July 2018
Norman Court in West Tytherley is delighted to announce that we are expanding our Outdoor Education Hub to include a Survival School. The Survival School at Norman Court is part of an internationally renowned, accredited and approved centre dedicated to teaching Bushcraft, Survival and Wilderness Living Skills. It was established in 1997 by Johnny Crockett and is set to complement the courses currently run in Devon, Bristol, Staffordshire, Scotland and overseas.
As well as offering accredited, set courses, the survival school, will be able to provide bookings for a whole range of groups, individuals, businesses and organisations such as schools, colleges, scouts, brownies, cadets and families.
The courses will be run by Andy Froy, who holds a Level 4 Bushcraft, Survival and Wilderness Living Skills Certificate meaning that the instruction will be of the highest quality.
Andy said In 2010 whilst attending basic military survival training within the Royal Marines I fell in love with the art of Wilderness Survival, which in turn led me into the fascinating world of Bushcraft and wilderness living. I love nothing more than passing on my love of all things Bushcraft and survival and I can't wait to start the courses at Norman Court'
The first survival school course runs from 27th-29th July 2018 and will run alongside our thriving Montessori Nursery and outdoor education programme.
