Salisbury Children take part in MAD Mega Swimathon

88423b3aef4d263af34f2195aafe2b7d.jpgBrother and sister swimming duo Ava and Daniel Farmer aged just 7 and 8 years old conquered a MAD Mega Swimathon earlier this year in aid of Sainsbury's Sport Relief Games.

The incredible team have been learning to swim with Wessex Swim School for several years and wanted to put their skills to good use by raising money for a good cause and beating their personal best in the pool.

On March 19th at the Godolphin School, Salisbury they both completed 1 mile of swimming which is an amazing 64 lengths each! They managed to beat their £300 target and raised a whopping £500 that will be used to help transform lives in the UK and other countries. For example, just £20 could provide life-saving medicine for 100 children. So Team MAD Mega Swim has done a phenomenal job raising money for a life-changing cause with their impressive skills.

Mum Maria, which makes up Team MAD (Maria, Ava, Daniel) was thankful for all contributions and looked very proud of her courageous swimmers.

Wessex Swim School provides over 20 years' experience with friendly staff and a maximum of 3 pupils per class which allows your child to improve and progress their skills faster and currently teach over 900 swimmers' each week in Southampton, Winchester and Salisbury.
