Ingredients

  • 6oz Self Raising Flour
  • 3oz Caster Sugar
  • 2oz Ground Almonds
  • A Pinch of Salt
  • 5oz Margarine
  • 1-3 Drops Almond Extract
  • 24 Whole Almonds

Method

  1. Grease baking trays
  2. Mix the dry ingredients together (do not include the almonds)
  3. Rub in the margarine
  4. Add the extract and mix with hands
  5. Mould small pieces of the dough into finger like shapes
  6. Push an almond into the end of each 'finger'
  7. Bake for 15 minutes or until lightly golden
