.180 C°, 350 F°, Gas Mark 4

Ingredients

  • 250g Butter
  • 200g Dark Brown Sugar-if I don't have enough I will use a mixture of light brown and dark brown sugar.
  • 8tbs Golden Syrup
  • 500g Oats
  • 40g sultans, raisins, cherries, chocolate drops (I don't always add anything - plain is just as yummy!)

Method

  1. Melt Butter, sugar and golden syrup
  2. Add oats and mix together
  3. Add any extras - raisins, chocolate drops, cherries etc
  4. Pour into a greased tin
  5. Flatten roughly
  6. Place in over for around 30mins
  7. Remove from oven, cut into squares
  8. Leave to cool
