Brockholes Brockholes is a new kind of nature reserve; an unreserved reserve, located just off Junction 31 of the M6 near Preston. Follow us on our adventure as we watch wildlife 'move in' to the reserve and host many fun events at our floating visitors centre. There is a lot to see and do at Brockholes, as the visitor village is complete with a restaurant, shops and a welcome centre. You can also explore our family-friendly hides, walking trails and play area.

Ashton Court to the west of Bristol is a Grade 1 listed mansion house and estate and is well worth a visit. You can go for lovely, long walks, cycle and really feel that you're in the countryside. There's a lot to do here...



Linton Zoo The perfect place for a family outing... Whatever your age! At LInton Zoo emphasis is on conservation and education, while providing an enjoyable family day out. There is a wealth of rare and exotic ceatures to see including Tigers, Lions, Tapirs, Lemurs, Binturongs, Owls, PArrots, Giant Tortoises, Tarantula Spiders and many others. Set in 18 acres of beautiful gardens with plenty of picnic areas and a children's play area. There is also a coffe shop and gift shop (restricted winter opening hours). For information of activites for children scheduled for weekends and the school holiday period please look at our website under news. For those that wnat something more than just a zoo visit we offer Keeper Experiences. This can be booked in advance for adults and children and is a unique way of getting closer to some of your favourite zoo animals. You can also sponser your favourite zoo animal by going online. Kids birthday parties with a difference: this includes meet the reptile or lemur keepers, picnic lunch boxes and goody bags. This must be booked atleast 2 weeks in advance.
