Wellington Country Park

Set in 350 acres of Parkland, Wellington Country Park is an ideal destination for all the family, with safe play areas, beautiful nature trails and lakeside walks. Dogs are welcome. A wealth of enjoyment with lots to see and do, including a programme of special events throughout the season. Wellington Country Park has all the ingredients for a fantastic day out, with barbeque and picnic areas, nature trails, play areas for children of all ages, crazy golf, miniature railway, sandpit, lakes, cafe‚ and gift shop. There is also an animal farm with goats, sheep with a couple of lambs, pigs and piglets, cows, donkeys, turkeys and chickens. A new petting barn will be open from mid June. Wellington Country Park hosts a full programme of events throughout the season, most of which are included in the cost of your entry ticket.
We start our season off on February 13th, with Valentines Day, the day we re-open. We then have events right through the season until our last event of the year, the Firework Fiesta on November 7th.

Events can range from family fun days to reptile handling sessions and will appeal to both young and old, so please see our monthly events page to keep up to date with whats going on.
