Paradise Wildlife Park
Paradise Wildlife Park in Hertfordshire is home to an amazing array of animals including, tigers, lions, penguins, gibbons, zebras, camels, parrots, and reptiles. As well as our fascinating animal friends for you to meet we have everything you need to keep the whole family entertained. Make sure to consult your Park Map on arrival so that you don't miss a thing; there is a daily schedule of Shows and Keeper Talks for you to enjoy.
Alternatively you can relax; surrounded by our beautiful gardens, while the children let off steam in our all-weather play areas. We have three very individual play areas that include; Funland, Adventure Playground and Fantasy Land. Fantasy Land located near the Birds of Paradise is the smallest play area but no less fun with swings, a dolls house and a fire truck to keep the kids amused! In our Adventure Playground children can have a swash buckling high seas voyage down at Pirates' Cove or take a gentle jaunt to visit the Fat Controller on Thomas the Tank Engine.
Funland and our Adventure Playground are linked by our Ancient Woodland Walk, along which you will find species native to the British Isles such as Foxes, Owls and Deer. Along this walk you will also find many species of Flora and Fauna that are being conserved by our Gardening Team headed up by Brian & Jennifer Longley.
All adventures are catered for and children with special needs can enjoy the same thrills in The Special Place. Located nearby is Safari Sam's Restaurant for lunch or a quick pit stop to top up energy levels before heading off to find dinosaurs on The Woodland Railway*. Bouncy castles, a Helter Skelter, Roundabout, Canyon Trucking* and Manning's Amusements* are all available just off of the Great Ormond Street Garden in the centre of the Park.
During the Summer months the ideal way to round of your visit to Paradise Wildlife Park is to bring along your swimming costumes for a dip in The Paradise Lagoon, all children are welcome to use this facility but we do request that babies in nappies use the specially designed swimming nappies that can be purchased on site (for Health & Safety reasons).
Just next door you will find our Indoor soft play area Tumble Jungle which gives adults the opportunity to sit back and relax with a nice cup of tea, freshly brewed Starbucks Coffee or enjoy a slice of cake while the little ones let their hair down. Children up to the age of 12 years will be able to enjoy this facility whatever the weather ensuring that you can make the most of your membership 364 days of the year!
We also have our Souvenir shop, The Jungle Trading Post which offers an amazing range of gifts and goodies for you to take home. Situated next to The Jungle Trading Post, you will find the On-Safari Adventure Golf*, Panning for Gold* and Crazy Sand Cabin*, plenty of ways to make sure that each visit to Paradise is different from the last. In fact we are sure that you can't fit it all in to one day so why not consider becoming a member and enjoying free admission for the whole year?
