Welcome to Edinburgh Zoo, the largest and most exciting wildlife attraction in Scotland, committed to the highest standards of animal welfare, conservation and environmental education. In just one day, you can meet over 1,000 wonderful animals in our beautiful parkland setting on the outskirts of Edinburgh. We have some wonderful attractions for you to experience, plus you can also enjoy a wide range of visitor facilities and masses of events and activities throughout the year. Rainbow Landings provides our visitors with a unique opportunity to get up close and personal with our beautiful rainbow lorikeet birds. Budongo Trail allows visitors to see our chimpanzees in the world's most innovative, interactive chimpanzee enclosure. Watch these amazing creatures in their home and learn all about the links between humans and our closest relatives. Living Links, in association with Budongo Trail, is a primate education and research facility which houses capuchin and squirrel monkeys. Visitors can see these primates swinging around their enclosures, learn about research carried out here, and find out about future development. Animal Antics allows you to have fun, learn fascinating facts, and watch our animal extroverts perform gravity defying stunts. Edinburgh Zoo is home to the UK's only Koalas, housed in a wonderful Australasian-themed exhibit. The Zoo also has the largest penguin pool in the world.
