Chinnor & Princes Risborough Railway is a friendly country branch line in the style of the former Great Western Railway, providing heritage train rides for both families and enthusiasts alike.

Most trains are steam hauled and operate every Sunday and Bank Holidays departing from Chinnor station. The railway is open from Mothers Day to Halloween and generally tickets give unlimited travel on the day of purchase. It also offers superb cream teas on many of the Sunday afternoon steam hauled trains; for availability and advance booking please telephone 07979 055366.

Light refreshments are available on Chinnor Station and most trains include a licensed buffet. Large free car park.

We have a newly refurbished gift shop situated in the station building which stocks a wide range of gifts, toys including 'Thomas the Tank Engine' items.

The railway is run entirely by volunteers. Funding is obtained from donations, and the money we are able to raise by running steam and diesel train services for visitors at weekends. The Association is a registered charity. New volunteers are always welcome. No previous experience required. The railway offers a wide variety of jobs and training will be given where required. So why not join us today. Simply follow the link to our membership page and get involved.
