North Herts Leisure Centre
North Herts Leisure Centre is set in beautiful landscaped grounds within Letchworth Garden City, just off Junction 9 of the A1. Free ample parking is available. A friendly atmosphere awaits anyone who wants to use this facility. North Herts Leisure Centre has a Tropical Wave Pool perfectly designed to relax and unwind in. Slide on down our wacky Water Flume or enter the super Tropical Pool, which boasts a fun Wave Machine. There is also a children's Swan Slide and 'Froggy Fountain' Water Squirter. Swimming lessons and courses are available through the AquaEd SwimSchool Programme. Enjoy our 60 station technogym equipped Fitness Suite, which offers you a large range of Cardiovascular and Resistance equipment. A wide and varied programme of activities is always on offer with an extensive programme that offers classes for all ages and abilities. This area is due to be refurbished in Autumn 2006. The Sports Hall offers a varied programme of activities to enjoy from Football, Gymnastics, Trampolining, Judo, Badminton. Squash courts are also available. If that all sounds too energetic, relax and unwind in our Cafe Lounge area which offers a varied menu of food options to satisfy everyone's tastebuds.
