There are guided tours by experienced guides, a family trail for younger people - try dressing up as a Victorian child and going back to a school of long ago. We are a hands-on museum - try writing in a sand tray or on a slate; try dipping your pen into an inkwell; or try your hand with our early toys, games and puzzles. It's a great place for grandparents to reminisce with grandchildren - and vice versa! Our Victorian benefactors unfortunately did not foresee the need for car parking on our site! They built a playground instead, which can accommodate one or two cars for passengers with disabilities; we request that you to telephone in advance to discuss your needs.
