Review of Decathlon Bike
B'TWIN ORIGINAL 500 KIDS' HYBRID BIKE 8-12 YEARS from Decathlon
We've designed this fully equipped 20-inch hybrid bike for children aged eight to twelve years (135 to 155cm) wanting to cycle in all kinds of weather on roads and paths. So they can cycle all year round - and to save you on washing - it also has mudguards, and for all their belongings, there's a basket. Changing between gears is made easier for children thanks to our EasySpeed innovation.
- The gears are easy for children to change
- Mudguards to protect them from tyre spray
- Basket for essentials
Our 8 year old daughter has been lucky enough to review the B’twin Original 500 Hybrid Bike 8-12 years from Decathlon.
It is a lovely looking bike-deep, navy blue and pink with a basket at the front. The bike was pretty much ready to go when it arrived, just a few adjustments and it was ready for her to try. She hasn’t had a bike with gears before, but found them easy to change once she understood what they were for! She was very happy with the comfort and look of the bike and can’t wait for Daddy to fit her Decathlon pannier rack and bags so she can transport even more essentials!
As parents, we feel the bike is beautiful and great quality; strong and sturdy, and is going to last her for years; which is so important when spending money on something-you don’t want to have to be replacing it too often. She will definitely be able to ride this when she is 12, so 4 full years! All of her bikes so far have not grown with her for more than 2, so this is a great investment. Our daughter only turned 8 a week ago so she is going to get a lot of use out of this bike over the next few years. Very good value for money!
This bike is a great introduction to gears etc. before being ready for an adult bike. If you were to purchase this bike for your child I don’t think you would be at all disappointed.
Everyone’s happy-which makes the perfect purchase in any family!
