Tynedale Tennis Club

Tynedale Tennis Club Welcome to Tynedale Tennis Club in Hexham. Tennis has been played at our club since 1888 and we are proud of our heritage and are privileged to be able to play in one of the most attractive areas of Tynedale surrounded by trees and greenery. We are based in Hexham and the courts and club house are beside Tynedale Cricket Club. We are a thriving club and have recently refurbished all 6 of our artificial grass all-weather courts to ensure they encourage enjoyable play for many years.

Our members enjoy tennis at all levels, ranging from infants of 4 to super-vets of 74+.  We welcome all abilities and ages whether you are new to tennis and just fancy giving it a try, or want to play social tennis occasionally, or you are a seasoned player looking for competitive tennis. Come and experience our great facilities and friendly atmosphere.

Tynedale Tennis Club has a dedicated tennis pavilion overlooking the courts. All members of the Club are able to use the Cricket Club house facilities.

We are very fortunate to have access to a range of qualified coaches who provide coaching options to suit all ability levels, either on a one-to-one or group basis.

Tennis is a great inexpensive way to keep fit, meet new friends and have good fun. We look forward to welcoming you to our club. Please look at our site for more information or contact us and we would be delighted to answer any questions you have.
