Rugby Tots, Mowden Hall School
So what is Rugbytots? - an exciting activity session for children from 2 - 7 years, based around rugby, that develops a child's physical, psychological and social skills in a fun, energetic and structured programme, as well as gently encouraging rugby specific skills such as running with the ball, finding space, kicking, catching, scoring a try and much more. Rugbytots has been successfully operating nationally since 2006.
When the opportunity arose to purchase the franchise for the North East I jumped at it! As a PE teacher and a Rugbytot parent, I have seen first hand the benefits in terms of physical activity and development, personal confidence and working together as a team.
Our lead coaches are all paediatric first aiders, RFU qualified rugby coaches, CRB checked and trained to a very high standard to ensure your children enjoy their time at Rugbytots in a safe and organised environment.
Our sessions are separated into 3 age groups 2-3.5 years, 3.5 - 5 years and 5-7 years and we run classes across all these age groups at all of our venues.
We currently have sessions running in Hexham, Mowden Hall, Gosforth, Gateshead, Tynemouth, Morpeth,, Cramlington, West Moor, Blaydon and Boldon.
Details of all sessions can be found on the Rugbytots website www.rugbytots.co.uk or by contacting me e:firstname.lastname@example.org or t: 08453133257.
Taster sessions are usually available depending on space at each venue.
