Cool Water - The healthy option with ZeroWater
The benefits of drinking clear cool water
Drinking water is good for you it's official.
There are plenty of adverts and commercials showing us the trend for bottled water but what are the real benefits of drinking water and how much should you drink? The recommended amount is 2 litres for the average person which equates to approximately 10 - 12 glasses a day. With this in mind a family of 5 will be spending at least £5 - £7 on water each week. This might not suit everybody, when essentially there is no need to pay for bottled water, as you can get is straight from the tap. The recent why many of us don't opt for tap water is usually due to the taste and even smell, which varies depending on where you live.
Here are some of the reasons why we should be drinking more water:
- Water Helps to Maximize Physical Performance. ...
- Hydration Has a Major Effect on Energy Levels and Brain Function. ...
- Drinking Water May Help to Prevent and Treat Headaches. ...
- Drinking More Water May Help Flush Toxins and Aid Digestion...
- Drinking Water May Help Treat Kidney Stones. ...
- Water Helps Prevent Hangovers.
- Drinking Water Improves and Hydrates Skin
Can it make tap water more palatable?
What it does
ZEROWATER REMOVES VIRTUALLY ALL DISSOLVED SOLIDS, WHILE BRITA LEAVES ABOUT HALF.
ZeroWater products do so much more than provide you with tasty, filtered water. Our unique 5-stage filter removes
virtually all total dissolved solids (TDS), a claim which no other filter jug or dispenser can put their name to.
- Delivers the purest tasting water
- The only filter certified for Lead & Chromium reduction
- 3rd party tested to remove 99% of Chlorine, Fluoride, Radium and Asbestos
We tested the water purifier on a family of 5.
They found the jug easy to assemble and were quite intrigued by the water tester which detects impurities in tap water and displays the readings. However the first and important thing to do was to rinse the jug once assembled at least 8 times as the smell and taste of the water is a bit chalky if not done properly. Our family chose to cool the water in the fridge and were very pleased with the taste and reported that during the trial the uptake of pure water had increased by 50%. The filter lasted approximately 2.8 months and that was with daily use. * They added that the cost of a new filter could be prohibitive for some families and that the water capacity of the jug could be increased. other that that they rated ZeroWater 4 out 5 and would highly recommend it.
More information About ZeroWater
ZeroWater’s 12-cup water filter jug is the first in its class to benefit from a sealed lid and reservoir which allows filtered water to be poured while water which hasn’t yet been filtered remains in the reservoir. This adds a further 2 cups of capacity to the 10 cups of filtered water in the jug. It also features a one-handed, pull and pour button spout for easy pouring from the fridge or for filling bottles.
Unlike other leading water filter jugs, ZeroWater benefits from a patented, 5-stage Ion Exchange Filtration system which removes virtually all dissolved solids from your water. This provides great tasting water without the dissolved solids which may include Minerals, Salts, Metals, Chemicals and Runoff.
Moreover, it reduces 99% of all Fluoride and other inorganics, such as Nitrates, from your water.
Four additional stages of water filtration ensure larger particles and other contaminants are removed, ensuring the filter delivers a “000” reading on the included laboratory-grade water quality meter. Dimensions (L x W x H): 29.5 x 15 x 28 cm
