Christmas shows in the North East, either socially distanced live audiences or streamed online, there's a whole host of festive fun on offer!
Our beloved theatres have been knocked for six this year with countless shows cancelled. Thanks to a little help from grants and a whole lot of ingenuity from the casts, crews and staff there are now quite a few shows going ahead this December.
Be sure to book your seats quickly as capacity is limited and demand for some good old family fun is sure to be very high! Each theatre/venue has strict rules in adherence with covid-19 restrictions. Please read the instructions on their websites.
Jack and The Beanstalk, Boulevard, Newcastle 24th - 30th December
Jack and his mother live in a cottage in the shadow of the giant. With rent overdue they have no choice but to sell their cow. After tricking the Trotts into selling for a bag of beans, the giant's henchman kidnaps the Princess for his master.

Sleeping Beauty will contain all of the panto fun that everyone enjoys so much but will be performed in one act lasting approximately 1 hour 15mins to 1 hour 30 mins. Customers will still be able to purchase refreshments within the theatre but obviously there will not be an interval.
SLEEPING BEAUTY is sold as a safe, socially distanced show and as such all customers booking this show should only book tickets for their own household and not extended households or groups as we have to assume that full social distancing will still be in place at that time.
