Make a Movie Club - Holiday Film School

Make a Movie Club - Holiday Film School

Write, Devise, Make and Star in a movie in just 5 days with Make a Movie Club by 4Foot1Films.

Make a Movie Club is not your average Performing Arts camp. It is an interactive movie making experience for kids aged 5-11. Creative Writing, Camera & Sound Operation, Acting, Directing - You get a chance to do it all and when you’ve finished you get to take home a DVD of your finished film to enjoy again and again.

Everyone get the chance to work on both sides of the camera as they become a working film crew. From writing the story, to screening the film, and everything in between. Get hands on experience with all the equipment, learn how to set up different shots, record sound, plus act and direct in a unique film entirely created by you.

Steve Tanner - founder of 4Foot1Films Ltd and Make a Movie Club is a freelance Film Maker and Editor. He has a PGCE from Canterbury Christchurch University and trained at both Met Film and Raindance Film Schools. He taught Film & Drama to adult learners but now runs workshops for Primary kids. He is also an Actor and Director with Balham based Theatre Company “Southside Players” for whom he has also been making trailers and video content for over 10 years.

Make a Movie Club will be running in the Wimbledon area over the Easter and Summer holidays.
