Whyley Dance Club
Michelle Whyley community dance workshops are full of fun and laughter.
It's an exciting way to learn dance and stay fit and healthy. Dance, Ballet, Street and Zumba classes for all ages from 18months to children to adults.
Dance is such an important part of a child's life as it helps develop confidence, social skills, movement memory and a creativity. Its a fantastic way for children to express themselves.
Michelle is a fully qualified dance artist with qualifications such as advanced certificates in Ballet, Modern and Tap,GNVQ's in performing arts, Btec and a Degree in Dance and experience of 22 years of training.
Whyley Dance is perfect for preschoolers as the emphasis is on having fun, without any pressure of exams.
Timetable May 2019
Tuesdays Areley Kings Village Hall
4pm foundation dance (age 3-6)
We do street, modern and contemporary dance, in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. It’s a great introduction to young budding dancers.
4.45pm intermediate dance (age 7-13)
This is a faster pace class. Looking at technique, performance skills, creative tasks in street, breakdance, ballet and contemporary.
5.45pm adults dance fitness. All abilities, all ages. Lots of different dance styles, toning and lots of fun.
Wednesday’s Baxter College
5pm Squad - for budding young dancers age 3-6. Introducing street, break dance and contemporary dance.
Fun, fun and more fun through creative tasks.
6.30pm Advanced squad for age 8-16
A fast pace classes looking at intense technique, creative and choreography work.
Styles street, break dance, contemporary and fusion styles.
7.30pm performance group age 10-16
For committed advance dancers who want to be pushed and want to perform in a variety of different places.
