Theatretrain has 20 years of experience in training young people aged between 6 and 18. Its friendly and pioneering way of working has drawn praise from a variety of industry professionals. The franchise is built on a teamwork approach to the work.
What makes it special is that Theatretrain can claim to be the only performing arts training company in the UK who regularly give all their pupils the opportunity to perform in some of the famous theatres in the world. By "owning their own space" and working together the pupils learn about theatre but also the life skills of confidence and engagement.
In 2010 they have presented their pupils in shows at Sadlers Wells Theatre, the London Palladium as well as the Royal Albert Hall and the O2 Arena. Their patrons are Sir Derek Jacobi, Frances de la Tour, Alfred Molina and Catherine Tate.
Classes are every Saturday at Hagley RC School in Brake Lane, Hagley, from 10am-1pm.
