Find out more about Heathfield Knoll School in Wolverley
Nestled within the Worcestershire countryside, Heathfield Knoll School and First Steps Day Nursery make the transition from one stage of school life to the next as seamless as possible, whether it is a child moving from Preschool to Reception or a pupil joining the HKS family mid year. Regardless, Heathfield Knoll School offers the same amount of bespoke pastoral and educational care to all pupils.
Throughout Lower School (Reception to Year 4) pupils and staff start to form a strong bond with their peers and teachers. Subject specialist teachers, for example in Music, PE, Modern Foreign Languages, STEAM and Forest School, start to teach the pupils from an early age. They continue to have an input into the learning journey throughout the school up until Year 11.
HKS believe family and relationships are a key part of education. The school offers ‘Learning Together’ sessions for parents to be immersed in their child’s learning, including the sharing of work. Heathfield Knoll School also extends a personal invitation for family members to be involved in events such as art exhibitions, Family Celebration Assemblies and festive services in school and at church.
From Preschool to Year 6, pupils at HKS benefit from wrap around care and holiday club – pupils are cared for from 7:30 am – 6:00 pm Monday to Friday and for 50 weeks of the year.
