The Blackwell Academy
The Blackwell Academy is considered by many to be the premier marshal arts school in Eastern England. Offering professional Martial Arts Tuition to both adults and juniors. At the Blackwell Academy our young students are in a safe and well regulated environment. Here they can learn the positive benefits of self discipline and confidence while developing coordination and increasing strength and flexibility.
Our structured classes are split by age and belt grade so that we can best meet the needs of each student.
Little Dragons (3-4 year olds)
We started Little Dragons in 2001 and have recently enjoyed watching some of our original Little Dragons progress to Black Belt. These classes are a great way to introduce your child to a sport that could stay with them for the rest of their lives. During the lesson we balance discipline with fun so the children enjoy their class and are rewarded for following instructions and showing good behavior. Our Instructor's are patient, fun-loving and firm.
Junior Karate (5 )
The Junior classes are well structured and disciplined but still enjoyable. Split into Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced classes, out timetable ensures that we can help each student progress without feeling rushed or overwhelmed.
Our Kickboxing classes are high energy and are suitable for adults and children. A great way to get fit, learn self defence and work towards belt grades.
NOT JUST FOR KIDS, Did you know we also have Family Karate Classes, Adult beginner and Advanced classes, Kickboxing Ju Jitsu and a fitness gym?
