Stagecoach Ipswich and Stagecoach Woodbridge are starting the new school year with Discovery Sessions. Prospective students aged 4-18 will be able to try Stagecoach for free. The schools specialise in boosting confidence and helping children with low self-esteem as some children at Stagecoach seem more able to flourish when playing a role where they might find social interaction difficult in every day settings.
However, education is also a top priority, and the schools aim to provide a quality learning experience in all facets of the performance arts. The 2014 inspection report praised management, teaching and learning as very good with some features outstanding. In addition, Stagecoach provides diverse opportunities to display new-found skills and talents. As well as regular in-house performances, the schools offer optional performance arts exams, plus an annual show in a major theatre. Recently, students have also performed on stage in Ipswich and Lowestoft, and others have filmed for ITV and Channel 4. The coming term sees students involved in a number of performances with touring artists. They'll perform with Michael Jackson star Navi, and in the Michael Otton Illusionist show this autumn. One Woodbridge student will play ' in Madama Butterfly when the tour reaches Lowestoft.
To book a Discovery Session, or to discuss what Stagecoach can offer your child, please call or email. Places for the free session are now very limited, but every attempt will be made to accommodate your child.
Stagecoach has been my second home for 9 years and I will always treasure the memories I have made from it. Thank you for believing in me! Amy (student)
Since joining you, we've seen our daughter really grow in confidence and self-esteem. With your help, she'll be ready and prepared to take on the new adventure of Primary school. The Regent show was fantastic and a joy to watch Fiona (parent)
