Ipswich Tuition Centre

Ipswich Tuition Centre
The Ipswich Tuition Centre in Ipswich offers professional tuition for children aged 6 to 16 in Maths, English and Science. We cater for both primary and secondary children with a spectrum of abilities. Some of the children are high achievers and we stretch them further with their school work. Some children simply need support and encouragement to achieve their full learning potential. At the Ipswich Tuition Centre we aim to give children the confidence they need to make real progress and achieve their personal goals.
The Ipswich Tuition Centre is located near Ipswich Library. It is a spacious, well resourced learning environment where children feel comfortable and happy.
The Ipswich Tuition Centre opened in September 2011. Between October 1994 and August 2011 the centre operated as Kip McGrath Education Centre. It has always been run by Tony Fleming. He has a degree in English from the University of East Anglia, and a Post Graduate Certificate of Education from the University of Loughborough. Since qualifying as a teacher he has worked in Secondary Schools in Kent, Berkshire and Suffolk. He has also taught abroad and has written English teaching materials. He has four children of his own.
A FREE assessment is carried out to find out where your child's difficulties lie. The results of the assessment are discussed confidentially with parents. If there is a problem we will explain how your child can be helped.
An individual programme of study is devised to meet the needs of your child using the proven Ipswich Tuition Centre method of tutoring. At the Ipswich Tuition Centre we use audio, computer, graded worksheets and textbooks all specifically designed to teach, revise and extend. Children attend lessons of 80 minutes which allows for a variety of teaching activities. Lessons take place after school and on Saturdays; children are taught on a one to one basis within a small group of up to 5 children. The presence of other children means they won't feel isolated or alone. Your child will work at their own pace, any failure is eliminated. As they achieve and succeed they find it both rewarding and fun.
Your child's tutor will be a fully qualified teacher. Your child will receive individual attention, their progress being carefully monitored.
Your child's improvement should be obvious. You will see progress as the sessions become more challenging and your child grows in confidence.
OFSTED Registered
The Ipswich Tuition Centre is now registered with OFSTED as a learning based childcare premises.
This means:
If you are issued with Childcare Vouchers by your employer you can use them to pay for tuition.
If you receive the Childcare Element of Working Families Tax Credit you can claim up to 80% of the cost of tuition back as childcare payments.
