Summer Holiday Activities at Raby Castle and High Force Waterfall

Enjoy the Great Outdoors at Raby this Summer!

With exciting new trails and special events planned throughout its stunning parkland, Raby is providing families with plenty of outdoor fun and entertainment throughout the summer.

At Raby Castle’s adventure playground, little imaginations can run wild as they embark on its new trail – The Lost Forest. A plane has landed in The Plotters’ Forest loosing it’s luggage within the Estate’s very own pine tree plantation– from socks and hats to swimming costumes and other holiday essentials. Your ticket includes access into the picturesque deer park surrounding the castle for the Explorers Expedition Trail.

High Force Waterfall – which is part of the Raby Estate – is also offering a new trail for the summer holidays. Butterflies and Bumblebee Trail. Visitors will be sure of a big surprise on Sunday 30th July during High Force’s Teddy Bears’ Picnic Afternoon Tea, where families can spend the afternoon walking to the falls and enjoying the scenery. High Force Hotel will then be waiting to greet them for a delicious ice cream and a selection of tasty treats and sandwiches. A prize will also be awarded to the best-dressed teddy bear.
