Frightwater Valley Revived!
Join us this October Half-term for the renewal of our signature Halloween spooktacular, Frightwater Valley. As a cloak of supernatural delight shrouds the adventure park, you’ll find all manner of creepy ghouls and beasties lurking in the shadows of the Valley. There’ll be friendly frights plus mini and mega scares for the whole family to enjoy!
Awesome activities to keep your little monsters eerily entertained in-between rides including Trick or Treat Doors, Live Scare Maze, Spooky Magic Show & Freaky Fancy Dress Competitions.
Trick or Treat Doors
Knock very loudly! Will it be a trick or a treat? Which ghastly ghouls or wicked witches will you meet behind the door?
Character Meet and Greet
Your chance to grab a photo with your favourite ghastly ghouls or bothersome beasties.
Icon Avenue
Take a walk down our Icon Avenue to meet a whole host of recognisable Hallwoeen movie characters.
Spooky sing-along Show
Join us in the Show Barn for a family friendly sing-along show – guaranteed to keep you and your little monsters laughing all day.
Live Scare Maze
Back by popular demand! Do you dare go down to the woods today and enter our live scare maze. During the day experience family friendly frights…but be warned as dusk falls you will need to tread scarefully as…the darker the night the scarier the fright!
Trick or Treat Trail
Visit our Trick or Treat Boo-tique to pick up your Halloween swag bag*. Follow the goodies guide around the park to find treats, sweets and much, much more! *Additional charge applies.
Freaky Fancy Dress
Get into the spirit of Frightwater and come dressed in your scariest Halloween costume. There’ll be lots of prizes with winners picked each day!
Fearsome Face Painting
Who or what do you fancy being? A witch? A Vampire? A ghost? Choose from a wide variety of blood curdling characters.
Tomb stone Trail
Join the Boo Crew and go on a trembling trail around the park to find all 13 hidden tombstones. Find them all and win a spooky surprise.
All our usual rides and attractions will also be open from 10.30am, so you can have a fun-filled, frightening day full of chills, thrills and spills for the whole family!
End of season Firework finale on Sunday 5th November
Set above the adventure park’s picturesque Swan Lake this 15 minute jaw-dropping display, choreographed to music is all included in your day ticket, providing the perfect end to your Lightwater experience. Firework display starts at 5.15pm. Please note: firework display subject to weather conditions.
