Come and create at Castleford Museum this summer and discover more about your local history with exciting activities, crafts and trails. We’ll have plenty to make, do and discover with a different focus each week of the holidays.
Castleford Museum is full of incredible objects and artefacts- many of which were hidden in the ground until archaeologists dug them up.
But what do archaeologists actually do, and what can we learn about the past by looking at objects?
Learn how to record information and piece the past together through hands on activities as we celebrate the Festival of Archaeology.
