Rainbow Rockets Glass Fusing, National Glass Centre
As part of our Glass Exchange exhibition, Katie Paterson’s work includes dust from crushed meteors predating earth. Create a glass fused space rocket and imagine you are a space traveller collecting your own meteor sample. Using colourful mosaic tiles and glass grains, it’s time for blast off!
*Fused glass and ceramic work needs to be fired in the kiln so pieces must be collected at a later date. We aim to have these ready for collection approximately 10-14 days after the workshop date but cannot guarantee it.
