The Dragons are returning to Painshill this Oct half-term…and this time they have brought more friends with them!
A landscape garden is not just for summer! A stunning display of colour makes Painshill a brilliant day out throughout autumn. With 158 acres of landscape garden and woodland to explore you can easily social distance while enjoying the leaves falling and beautiful trees.
Created in the 18th century Painshill was designed as a walk around a work of art. Stroll around a serpentine lake and allow the dramatically placed follies and stunning views to unfold before you. Discover the Ruined Abbey, the view from the Turkish Tent, a Gothic Tower and more.
Over autumn children can collect a tree trail sheet at the Visitor Centre and spot ancient oaks, huge cedars and learn the difference between a willow and a yew. Fill their lungs with fresh air and get their boots just a little bit muddy while you spin sycamore seeds, collect conkers and feel the crunchy leaves underfoot.
Time your visit for Oct half-term and you will find that huge dragons have taken over the landscape. Release your inner knight and go on the Painshill quest to find all the statues. The trail is included in general admission and is wonderful fun for all ages.
Currently booking in advance is a must. Head to painshill.co.uk for all the information.
