Chelsea Ladies Football Club
Chelsea Ladies Football Club was established in 1992, and has been affiliated with Chelsea Football Club since 2004. They currently play in the FA Women’s Super League.
The club reached the FA Women’s Cup final for the first time in 2012, only to lose out to Birmingham City. Having just missed out on the FA Women’s Super League 1 title in 2014, finishing second on goal difference, the Ladies became the dominant force in English football. In 2015, Chelsea Ladies won a famous double, becoming champions of the FA Women’s Super League for the first time and winning the FA Women’s Cup - the first to be held at Wembley Stadium. The Blues then followed this up by lifting the FA WSL Spring Series in 2017.
The Ladies WSL season runs from September to May, with the team also competing for the FA Women’s Cup and Continental Tyres Cup, and UEFA Women’s Champions League. Chelsea Ladies play their home games at Kingsmeadow, Kingston upon Thames.
There are also mascot opportunities for fans - see the website for details: http://www.chelseafc.com/teams/chelsea-ladies/mascot.html
Match tickets are very cost-effective, so a match at Chelsea Ladies is a great way to see top class sport at family-friendly prices.
