Chessington World of Adventures Resort

Feel your heart pound as you journey on wild rides and stare wide-eyed encountering the resident animals at family Theme Park and Zoo, Chessington World of Adventures Resort, which features a NEW adventure for 2021…

Brave explorers can plunge 25m on a thrilling drop tower into the giant jaws of a crocodile on new ride, Croc Drop.

PLUS, there’s event-ures to be had as well…
NEW wild music festival, Wilderfest, joins the Chessington line-up of seasonal events in summer from Saturday July 24 to Tuesday August 31 and is included in your ticket.

Set amongst the wilds of the Theme Park and Zoo, five stages spread across the Resort allow the whole family to croc n’ roll as Chessington comes alive with the buzz of live music, plus roaming entertainment – party animals will not want to miss out! Those needing to re-energise and refuel, can head over to the Festival Field for mouth-watering street food too, before basking in the sunshine at the Backyard Beach.

This summer also marks 90 years since the opening of Chessington Zoo. Take a walk down memory lane in July and learn about the history of the Resort’s Zoo, right up to the present day.

Seasonal events continue later in the year, as things get spooky in October during Howl’o’ween with rides in the dark, plus plenty other tricks and treats carved out for a Halloween beyond your widest screams.

Finish the year at Winter’s Tail, where you can meet Father Christmas in his enchanting grotto, plus much more in the perfect yuletide treat.

For a term-time, weekday adventure there’s lots to do with your little monkeys at Chessington with a host of rides and attractions where kids step straight into the pages of their favourite bedtime stories and meet the characters too.

Join everyone’s favourite patchwork elephant, Elmer, as he and his friends take flight on Elmer’s Flying Jumbos, before helping Witch and her Cat find her lost belongings in Room on the Broom - A Magical Journey. Plus, meet a creature with ‘terrible tusks’ and ‘terrible claws’… the Gruffalo! as you float down the lazy river on The Gruffalo River Ride Adventure.

There’s soft play, live daily shows, Zoo-per encounters with animal talks and feeds and a SEA LIFE, as well as NEW dedicated events for pre-schoolers this year featuring Room on the Broom and PJ Masks, which dives into Chessington’s SEA LIFE in a NEW aquarium-wide adventure until Friday July 23.

An adult and pre-schooler ticket costs just £25 to visit on a weekday in term time.
