The Children's Room

The Children's Room is a privatey run MONTESSORI School in the Uplands, Swansea which is opened on Monday 10th September 2007.

We take children from the age of 2 years.

We are open term times only, from 9.00 am to 12.00 noon.

After school club is from 3.30 pm to 6.00 pm, and caters for children from 4 to 10 years.

Our fees are £15 a morning, and children must attend a minimum of two sessions a week.

The Montessori approach is about developing the whole child intellectually, socially, physically, emotionally, linguistically and spiritually.

At the Children's Room we aim to give each and every child the opportunity to do this. An example is that every day each child will have 15 minutes of yoga. Yoga can provide a programme of useful techniques to children for developing concentration, memory, co-ordnation and awareness of body, breath and emotions We are committed to creating a holistic and dynamic environmet for learning with the merging of both Montessori and yoga.

Admission

£15.00 per session, minimum of 2 sessions per week. Term time only.

It’s only cold when you’re standing still…

Sarah from Xercise4Less gives Raring2go! some great ideas for family fun to keep fit and healthy. Don't get stuck indoors just because it is winter. Dark mornings, cold blustery evenings and it seems we would all rather reach for our duvet than even contemplate heading outdoors to get active! Remember it’s only cold when you’re standing still…
