Shining Stars Day Nursery
Here at Shining Stars Day Nursery, we provide high quality childcare in a happy, safe and loving environment. This will be achieved through the provision of highly dependable staff who acknowledge the individual needs of your child whilst respecting the wishes of the parents.
We have 4 rooms throughout the nursery specially designed and resourced according to your childs age and ability. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
Almost all of our staff are fully qualified and we also have 2 members of staff who are on the pathway to achieving their Early Years Professional status.
This summer we are revamping our outdoor area which will include some large wooden structures and a safe area for our babies.
Free sessions area available for 3 &
4 year olds which are to be extended to 15 hours per week from September.
One of our main priorities here at Shining Stars Day Nursery is to ensure that all parents feel confident and happy at leaving their child in our care for the day.
We have therefore supplied a parent's room. In here there is a TV monitor which is connected to our CCTV cameras. The cameras are in all rooms where your child is playing so that you can observe them without your child knowing that you are there. This gives you that reassurance that you need especially on those Monday Morning Blues times if your child doesn't want to be left at nursery. CCTV is now live and is available for parents to watch over the internet.
Your child will be provided with a healthy balanced diet whilst at nursery, which will be prepared onsite by our Nursery cook. We have nutritionally analysed the menus to ensure they will receive the recommended daily intake of nutrients. The menu will be on a three week rota and will be displayed in reception for you all to see.
We also provide meals for those children with a special dietary need.
ââ∠âStaff share warm close relationships with the children who are happy and secure in their care.âââ¬Ã An extract from our recent Ofsted report following our inspection in December 2009.
It’s only cold when you’re standing still…
Sarah from Xercise4Less gives Raring2go! some great ideas for family fun to keep fit and healthy. Don't get stuck indoors just because it is winter. Dark mornings, cold blustery evenings and it seems we would all rather reach for our duvet than even contemplate heading outdoors to get active! Remember it’s only cold when you’re standing still…
Over the weekends and holidays there are always times when your children need some chill out time, or to fill an hour or so, or they say the dreaded 5 letter word - BORED! Well, our KidsZone is here to rescue you and them from these moments. Full of puzzles, colouring in sheets and activities from films and programmes there is lots to keep busy!
