Alys Davis spent 14 years working for Mary Quant, starting in product design and then specialising in knitwear; becoming a mother gave her the inspiration to start designing for herself. Alys has always been interested in vintage designs and fabric and decided to use her own collection of materials to make children's clothes. She used these fabrics to illustrate children's t-shirts and the Sidney brand was born. Following on from the success of the t-shirts Sidney now produces a range of goods: hats, bags, purses, underwear and even greeting cards. They all share the original values of the brand in that they are all hand made one off pieces using vintage fabrics. Full range of products can be seen at www.sidneysidney.co.uk and SHOP at www.sidneysidney.etsy.com
