Little Bookworms Preschool Group at Palace Green Library, Durham
Come along to Little Bookworms under 5s group and explore Palace Green Library’s fantastic collections and exhibitions. Through fun crafts, interactive stories, messy play, singing, games and role play, toddlers and pre-school children will discover new skills and interests and have lots of fun. Includes complimentary tea, coffee, juice and biscuits at the end of each session. There's no need to book, just drop in!
Admission: £1 per child, accompanying adults free.

Palace Green Library, in the heart of Durham city, holds Durham University's special collections. Our galleries are open to all and display treasures spanning millennia and the globe. Every weekend, we offer drop in family activities from 1pm - 3pm, free with your admission ticket to our exhibitions!

More about Palace Green Library
Palace Green Library is situated on Palace Green, between Durham Cathedral and Durham Castle, in the heart of Durham city. The regular Durham Cathedral Bus stops directly outside the entrance to Palace Green Library.
The Library was originally founded by Bishop John Cosin in the 17th Century. Palace Green Library served as the University’s main library for 150 years before focusing on archival and special collections in the 1980s. Today, Palace Green Library is a place for visitors and researchers to explore both the University’s treasures and collections from around the world.
Alongside our historic libraries and contemporary galleries, Palace Green Library houses Durham University\'s archives, early printed books and other special collections.
