Little & Loud Preschool Sessions at ARC Stockton Arts Centre
Every Wednesday (during term time), age 0-5 yrs, 9.45am – 10.45am
Come along and introduce your little one to music! This session is a fantastic activity for parents and children under 5 to play and learn together. Little & Loud is a fun and playful weekly session incorporating songs, music, moving, singing and dancing lead by experienced community musician.
Sessions begin with “Hello” songs and move on to favourites like Baa Baa Black sheep and other songs picked out from the song bag. The group play with percussion instruments, toys and other props to create gentle, creative and playful experience.
There is also chill-out time at the end of each session to ensure children, and their parents, leave feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.
Due to popular demand we have now added an additional afternoon session!
Please note: This session is ticketed per person (adult or child) attending the session. If booking online please make sure to book a ticket for each adult or child attending.

ARC is a very family friendly, safe and clean environment, with plenty of space, friendly staff, and baby changing facilities.
We are also proud to be a Breastfeeding Friendly space. We have a buggy park for venues and our lift means that all venues within the building are accessible by pushchair. There is plenty of seating and space for pushchairs and family groups, not just in the Cafe Bar but also on our first and second floor foyers.
ARC’s family shows allow parents, carers, friends and relatives the pleasure of watching younger audiences enjoy themselves, whilst reconnecting with their inner child! Magical scenery, hilarious heroes and heroines, and spellbinding musical scores are brought to ARC by the country’s finest and in some cases award-winning children’s theatre companies, who put younger audiences at the heart of everything they do.
Children under 18 months do not need a seat and are allowed free entry to all 3+ family shows. Groups of six or more can benefit from a discounted ticket price on family shows – you don’t all have to be family members, so why not bring your child’s friends along to make up a group of six?
After the show, everyone can enjoy a post-show lunch together in ARC’s Cafe Bar which offers a range of children’s meals and high chairs, as well as bottle warming for the very young audience members. The entertainment needn’t stop after the show, as we often have Stay and Play sessions and other with fun activities as well as merchandise for selected performances, which all makes for a fuller and engaging experience.
