Review of Cath Kidston Glasses
Cath Kidston opened her first shop in West London in 1993, having been inspired by growing up in the British countryside, and a love of vintage prints.
Cath Kidston continue their design philosophy in their collection of unique frames, taking inspiration from quirky vintage finds to create modern, fresh products in pretty, colourful prints.
'I went along to my local specsavers to try out their new range of Cath Kidston glasses .
The branch I visited had a selection of around 10 frames and also some prescription sunglasses. The glasses were a range of plastic and metal, and full and half frames, all of which had the distinct style of Cath Kidston. Most had plain fronts and decorated arms. There were some polka dot and some with the classic flower design. Mainly the glasses were dark coloured but there was a very striking red pair which I wish I had been brave enough to wear!
I went, however, for a pair of black frames with flower arms and pink polka dot sunglasses which are fantastic. They are very comfortable to wear and fit very snuggly, which is important with plastic frames. The size of the frames means there is a really good field of vision.
I am so happy with my new glasses, they feel very stylish and unique. The only downside was due to the size of the sunglasses they did not fit in a Cath Kidston case.
A great collection with fantastic designs, lovely to have something a bit different'
