Hewitt Performing Arts Ltd

Originating in 1952 as Scotton's Academy of Dance, Jean Scotton married in 1972 and, as Jean Hewitt, formed the Jean Hewitt School of Stage Dancing in St. Agnes' Hall, Jutsums Lane Romford. 35 years later the School lives on as Hewitt Performing Arts, achieving many accolades and awards, and an uninterrupted run of 100% exam passes with the B.A.T.D. in both the amateur and professional categories. Hewitt Performing Arts provides classes in Ballet, Modern Jazz dance, Irish tap and soft shoe, Hip Hop, Disco, Cheerleading, Singing, Drama and Teacher training. Students regularly have the opportunity to display their talents, and in recent years have performed at Theatre Royal Drury lane, Saddlers Wells, London Palladium, Her Majesty's Theatre and Disneyland Paris, as well as regular productions at Queen's Theatre, Hornchurch.
