Warwickshire Youth Male Voices Choir (age 12 – 21)
The Warwickshire Youth Male Voices emerged in 2012 out of the Boys’ Choir and is dedicated to encouraging young men to sing until leaving school, and beyond. Since its founding, the Male Voices has built a remarkable reputation through performances in the UK and internationally. They have won prizes at the Cornwall International Male Voice Festival and National Music for Youth; more recently, they won first prize in the 2016 Manchester Choral Competition and were named Outstanding Choir of the Day in the BBC National Choir of the Year Competition in the same year.
The Male Voices promotes technically and artistically informed singing among all of its members, and its strong focus on teaching young men a lifelong skill complements the atmosphere of fun and camaraderie. This approach is applied to a wide range of repertoire, including a capella arrangements of popular songs, folk music from around the world, and classical music spanning centuries.
We are always keen to take on new members, whether you’ve been involved in the Choristers at a younger age or not! Please don’t hesitate to get in touch!
