Welcome to Miss Becky’s Ballet, fun and friendly dance classes for children aged from 2.5. Classes are held at the Harriet Johnson Centre, Sompting every Thursday and Saturday.
Just to give you a little bit of a background about the Principal Becky:
Becky has been dancing since the age of 7, and owes her love of dance to her fantastic teachers, Jayne Wing and Rosalea Gibson at the Pirouette Academy of Dance in Leicester. Becky took all of her dancing exams in ISTD ballet, modern, tap, national and classical greek dance and competed in many competitions all over the country, even dancing at Sadlers Wells!
In 2013, Becky successfully completed her DDE (Diploma in Dance Education) in Classical Ballet. In 2015 Becky gained her DDE (Diploma in Dance Education) in Tap Dance and is now embarking on her DDI/DDE in modern dance.
Becky is very excited to be running her own dance classes at last, she now has two little ballet bunnies of her own, Jemima and Clara and lives in Sompting with David. Becky loves all aspects of all kinds of dance (and is a big fan of Strictly Come Dancing!) but ballet will always be closest to her heart.
Miss Becky holds a full CRB check and is fully insured as well as being a licenced Chaperone with WSCC.
